What we collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, workshop or event details, number of places requested, notes you choose to provide (including allergy information), marketing preference and payment status. We do not collect or store your bank card details.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, reserve and manage workshop places, take payment by bank transfer and contact you about your booking.
To keep the business and tax records we are required to keep.
To send workshop news and occasional offers only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep our website secure and improve the way it works.

Our legal basis

We use booking information because it is needed to take steps towards, or perform, a contract with you. We use marketing information only with your consent. We may keep certain records to meet legal and accounting obligations or for legitimate business administration.

Who processes your data

We use carefully selected service providers to run the business, including Cloudflare (website hosting), Google Workspace/Google Sheets (booking administration), Brevo (email marketing) and n8n (automation). They process information only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for the period required for accounting and tax purposes. Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally deleted within 12 months. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them; we also review inactive contacts periodically.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to certain uses, withdraw marketing consent or ask about how your data is handled. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

At present the website uses only essential local storage to remember basic site preferences. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy and the cookie controls will be updated before those tools are used.
